The Baby's Room !

So this is the baby's room!! We had so much fun working on it together, now all we need is our little one (lol) shedoesn't need to come right now! Our inspiration was the bead spread as he wanted a Disney theme (His family loves every little thing about Disneyland) and I just wanted pink incorperated in it.

Paint !

We are going to pick out the paint today!! But I think the number one priority is picking 1 of 3 bedding styles that we like! I want it to look nice but not tacky if you know what I mean! But it's kind of difficult, well because there are two opinions. Wish me luck!!!

Back up Plan !

Even though I have been hired at Inteli-Care I am going to play it safe an apply at some care homes. As I explained before in my last blog, I call prospective clients seeing if they need any services. If they do need services we try and work between both of our schedules. I have one prospect that I need to call on July 6th, once they come back from vacation. So I am being proactive and applying at care homes just in case! It might sound a little flaky but... I think it is best, just covering my bases.

Oh and we haven't figured out a name yet nor a pink paint color.

I Found a JOB!

I found a job at Ineteli-Care! I will basically be taking care of younger patients who have disabilities as a caregiver! I am very excited and nervous! I received certain cities with patients that require care, I then call them and see if they already have a provider for their son or daughter. By doing so I weed out the patients who already have a provider on work off the pile who I have not reached. It is definitely going to be a growing experience for me!!!!! I truly just need to find one patient where my schedule and their parents schedules can work out and everything will be all good. This experience is kind of reminding me how my dad and mom received clients, all they needed was just one and then it carried on from there ( I am very thankful for their example!)

Precious Moment

So the other morning I was laying on my side still trying to wake up and I felt something! Now, I know what it feels like when she moves around, but this was different! I felt her heart beat!! She was on the same side that I was and her back was up against my tummy and I feel it, It was SO neat!!

Sad News !

My dad' s assisted living is going out of business! It's kind of tough because my dad worked SO HARD to get it going!!! It was like a family affair with everyone being involved! My dad thought of the idea, bought a house and totally gutted it out and made it looked so BEAUTIFUL, did the up keep when things wouldn't work, & did so much and more! My dad, Terry, grandma, Tyler and I laid the tile on the back porch. My grandma made the window treatments throughout the care home, my sister did the book keeping, I worked there along with my sister-in-law (Vicki) as caregivers. When I heard the news I was schocked, but now I'm a little more emotionally schocked, well because I'm looking for another job. I'm REALLY going to miss all the friends that I made especially with the patients and the co-workers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I am on a job hunt, but that's ok, I have faith that I will find another job! If it's being a caregiver to working as a greater a Walmart, "He" always said that he never gives us challenges that we couldn't handle!

13 More Weeks !

I had my doctor appointment today, he said that I am right on schedule (September 10th)! I had the glucose test done and it wasn't that bad. My doctor was shocked that I wasn't showing that much being that I'm 27 weeks, but he said everyone is different and one week I will pop out like a balloon. :) We cleaned out the baby's room, and got the crib, it's awesome! The room is going to have a white border going horizontally half way up the wall, and them painting the bottom half pink! It has been very difficult picking out names because we have tow different opinions, I just want the name picked out by the time we go to the hospital!

Back from Utah !

We had such a great time in Utah! We went around temple square, did a temple session, toured the visitor center, ate on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building(called the Garden),went to the Museum of Church History, and went to the Brigham Young Historic Park. We also went to toured the Oquirrh Temple before it was dedicated, went to the beautiful Red Butte Botanical garden, visited the Hogle Zoo, and ate at the Pie (a pizza place). We stayed at his cousins house, which was totally awesome! She is a graphic designer and makes her own scrap book pages, and designs many different things for a cricket machine (a machine that cuts out a certain design for scrap book paper)! Even though we had a great time there's nothing like being home!!
